The deep, resonant charm of the guqin, combined with the fire virtue of the Zhi mode, directly guides the spirit, resolves depression and calms anxiety, achieving the state of "Heart balanced then spirit calm, spirit calm then Qi harmonious."

❤️ Zhi Fire Enters Heart · Subdues Wandering Spirit
The musical meaning is deep and remote, with introspection hidden within stillness. The strings of the Zhi tone warm the Heart-fire without drying it, guiding the scattered spirit back to its place. Effective for unsettled Heart-Qi, palpitations, and excessive dreaming. The slides and vibratos of the guqin promote Heart-Kidney balance, allowing the floating Yang to subside into the Dantian.

It guides the warmth of Heart-fire to descend and warm Kidney-water, dissolving internal stagnation, anxiety, and restlessness. Directly effective for calming the spirit in cases of excessive rumination, insomnia due to ascending Heart-fire, mouth sores, and irritability.

🪷 Heart Opens to the Tongue · Spirit Gains Clarity
A pure interpretation of the Zhi mode, like a lotus emerging from mud, cleansing the Heart-fire without burning. This piece is excellent for guiding the spirit back to its place in cases of mental tension, a spirit not residing in the Heart, and anxious sleeplessness.
